BUFFALO SOLDIERS MOTORCYClE CLUB
MARYLAND EASTERN SHORE CHAPTER

CHAPTER HISTORY
WHO WE ARE

The Maryland Eastern Shore Chapter of the Buffalo Soldiers MC was formed in 2000, by Chuck "Chucky" Joshua, Gilmore "Gil" Bailey, Carroll "Hijacker" Wilson, Troy "Pound Puppy" Joshua, and Dale "Dog Catcher" Brown. Each were members of the Delaware chapter at the time, but had the desire to start a chapter on Maryland's Eastern Shore where they lived to better serve their local community. "Dog Catcher" was the first chapter president, and "Chucky" was the first Vice President. "Chucky" was also responsible for getting the Delaware chapter started, and has since gone on to form the Buffalo Soldiers Cavalry Scouts.

The Maryland Eastern Shore Chapter has flourished over the past 21 years, growing from the original five members to its current size of 17 full patch members and 7 associate members. The associate members are Joyce Wilson, Barbara Holmes, Michelle Wayman, Kay Owens, Karen Holmes, Shawnell "Rayne" McRae and Sylvia "Sparkle" Perry. The Maryland Eastern Shore Chapter embraces the National Buffalo Soldiers and Troopers Motorcycle Club's motto of "doing good in the hood" as our members work toward making positive change and educating all that will listen, about the rich history of the original U.S. Army buffalo soldiers.
